Science of Mindfulness and Compassion Symposium Saturday, November 18, 2017 12:30 - 5:00 pm Fong Auditorium, Boylston Hall, Harvard Yard, Cambridge, MA Join CHA Center for Mindfulness and Compassion staff, Harvard faculty, and renowned experts on mindfulness and compassion on Saturday, November 18, 2017, for a half-day symposium including 8 insightful presentations on current mindfulness and compassion-based research, discussion and mindfulness practice. CHA Center for Mindfulness and Compassion, the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy and David S. Rosenthal Center for Wellness and Health Promotion, Harvard University Health Services are collaborating to offer this first annual symposium dedicated to conversation, practice and learning related to the scientificevidence and innovations in the fields of mindfulness and compassion research. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This course meets the criteria for 4 continuing education credits.This program carries 4 contact hours and meets the specifications of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (244 CMR 5.00).
